How To Use The Sign-In Options for Microsoft Office Applications?
We can easily switch between Accounts in Microsoft Office Applications. If we have a Microsoft Account and an Office 365 either school or work one, we can switch between them without even leaving any of our Office Applications. Just keep on reading the post below to find out how. Many of us wonder though, why do I need to Sign Into Microsoft Office?
It verifies that we are the licensed owner of Office. Once we sign into our Account we can:
1. Install and Activate Office
2. Connect to other Microsoft Office Services such as OneDrive
3. Reinstall Office if necessary
4. Create Files, Share Files and Edit Files that we have saved files at OneDrive
5. Use Office among multiple devices
Next, I have Microsoft Word running and I am currently in Backstage View.
If we click with our mouse on that area a drop-down menu will appear with the following information:
1. The Microsoft Corporation logo at the left and at the right we have the Sign Out option to use if needed so we can login with a different Account.
2. My Username along with the E-mail that I have logged in, to use the Microsoft Application.
3. My Microsoft Account: By selecting this link, we will be transferred to our Microsoft Account Web Page.
4. Office User Info: Our Account Details menu will appear, with all the settings and details considering our Microsoft Account. Here we can also find the Privacy Statement, and which version of Office we are using and if any Updates are ready to be installed.
At the bottom of the drop-down menu, we can see the different Accounts that we can use to Login in with a different one, as well with the option again to Sign In With A Different Account.
Next, I have Microsoft Excel running and I am currently in Backstage.

Next I have Microsoft Outlook running. In this application we do not have our Account Name and picture available at the top right corner. To view the details about our Account and the Options that we have to use so we can sign in or out with a different Account or anything else needed we must select the File tab to move to Backstage View and from the drop-down menu we select the category Office Account from the left. Once selected, everything will be available in the middle of our screen as shown below.
